Hands-on Delivery Help

Embedded for one or two sprints. We ship features with your team, fix what is in the way, and leave you with a CI and security setup that holds once we step out.

Who this is for

Teams that already use AI to write code, have a roadmap they believe in, and need an extra pair of senior hands to unblock shipping.

Usually five to thirty engineers, a tech lead who is stretched, and a deadline that is closer than comfortable.

What you get

  • Shipped features — one to three meaningful items from your backlog, merged to main, in production, with tests.
  • Faster PR cycle — usually a measurable drop in time-to-first-review and time-to-merge by the end of the sprint.
  • CI and security for AI output — pre-commit hooks, review templates, dependency and secret scanners wired into your existing pipelines.
  • A short retro at the end — what we did, what changed, what to keep doing.

How it works

1. Pre-sprint scoping (3–5 days)

A short call, a repo tour, and a written scope of one to three features with success metrics. No surprises on day one.

2. Sprint with your team (10 working days)

I work alongside your engineers — pairing on the hard bits, opening PRs, reviewing yours, fixing the CI that has been red for a month. Daily standups with the team, no management theatre.

3. Wrap-up and handover (2–3 days)

Final PRs merged, runbooks updated, retro document delivered. Optional 30-day check-in to make sure the new habits stuck.

Deliverables

  • Merged PRs with tests, on the agreed features.
  • CI configuration as code, in your repo, with a README.
  • Retro document — what we did, what we changed, what to keep.
  • A written handover to your tech lead.

FAQ

Do you replace our engineers? No. I work with them. The goal is to leave the team faster than I found it, not dependent on me.

What stack do you work in? Most days I am in TypeScript, Python, or Go, on AWS, GCP, or Cloudflare. Postgres, Redis, a queue, a CDN. If your stack is weirder than that, we will talk first.

How do you handle AI-generated code? Every PR I open goes through the same review as any other PR. If it does not pass your checks, it does not ship.

Can we extend for a second sprint? Yes. Most teams extend once they see the first sprint land.

Do you take equity? No. Fixed fee or day rate. Equity muddies the conversation.
